Race Clinic / Rookie Race
Embrace the spirit of the Olympic year by trying something new! Brundage and Bogus Pass Holders are invited to a free race clinic and “Rookie Race” so you can experience ski racing for the first time OR sharpen your skills! If you don’t have a season pass we invite you to the clinic & “Rookie Race”for $5 bucks. Hour race clinic starts at 10:30. The race will begin at High Noon. Brundage Mountian Cup Freestyle Jam Series #1
We’re kicking off this year’s freestyle series with a multi-heat event that allows competitors of all ages and skill levels to compete. Top three finishers will qualify for the Freestyle Jam Final in April. Riders & skiers are split up by age groups. Object is to hit as many jumps & rails as you can. You get the freedom to choose the jumps & ramps that best displays your talents & abilities. You will be scored on two runs. This is the 1st of 3 jams. Event takes place on Rodeo. The race will begin at High Noon. Registration will start at 9:00 am at the Brundage Mountain Resort Events tent. $25 per Jam or $40 if you register for whole series. Kids Snow Castle Experience
In the spirit of McCall’s Winter Carnival, we’ll guide your children as they discover and embrace the art of snow sculpture under the supervision of a local artist. Afterward kids will be set loose to create a snow castle. Event will take place in the base area. Look for the Brundage Mountain Resort Event Tent. Diva Day
We’re treating women aged 18 & up to half-priced lift tickets so you can unleash that woman-warrior on the slopes. Valentine's Day Speed Dating
Ski or ride on your own if you like, but by afternoon, the singles line on the Blue Bird quad will be reserved for speed dating participants. We’ll match you up on these 6 minute chairlift ride speed dates then you can decide whether to take a run with your new friend or take a lap and meet someone new. This event will be held from 2:00-4:00pm just look for the Queen of Hearts she will be your match maker for the afternoon. Brundage Mountain is celebrating its 20th Winter Games competition with Slalom and GS races for competitors of all ages and abilities. Join us for this Idaho tradition and make lasting family memories. Saturday events include: Children & Juniors Recreational Alpine Giant Slalom (3-18 year olds), Mitey Mite Giant Slalom, Physically Challenged Giant Slalom. Torch Light Parade
Brundage Mountain treats our guests to a spectacular on-snow parade down the mountain lit only by torches. The Parade is a celebration of Winter Games, a perfect ending to a great day of ski racing. This is a ski race like none you’ve seen before! Open to riders and sliders of all ages and abilities, the big prizes will go to those who can best accomplish some non-traditional ski slope challenges like the limbo, and other team-based activities. Snow Wars - Yukigassen
This snowball fight has rules…lots of them. Think soccer, paintball and capture the flag all rolled into one. Snowballs will be provided, as will basic instruction. Your position designates where you can go on the field (like soccer). The list of rules goes on. The point is, this is not just a “pick-up game”. This is an international hit that we want to be part of the Brundage tradition. Give it a shot! Rules will be posted on the Brundage website. Space will be limited. Call ahead to reserve your spot. Cost is $25 per team of 7. Instruction will begin at 11:00am. The war will begin at High Noon. Easter Egg Hunt
Two great events in one! Our annual Easter egg hunt will take place on Easy Street, as families celebrate the savings we’re offering in honor of Spring Break. Kids 17 & under get free lift tickets! Easter Egg Hunt will begin at noon on the top of easy street. Look for the Golden Egg to win the Easter Basket. Look for the Easter Bunny! He will be skiing around the Mountain. You’ll dodge more than 70 gates as you cruise 2+ miles down Temptation. Great event for first-time racers, proceeds benefit the McCall Ski Racing Team. Racers start at one-minute intervals, controlled passing is allowed, and healthy camaraderie encouraged. leesajohnson@brundage.com
