Okay so this was Wednesday: the conditions were about an inch of scattered snow on top of ice, which was on top of rocks. If you were careful you could get some grip but most of it was basically ice skating. So today they got like 2 in of fresh snow and almost no people were there so Friday should be good skiing.
Skied it three times last week and while there were icy spots, I had good luck sticking to the edges of the runs. Really need some snow, but if you're a SP holder or go for night skiing, just getting to see the sunshine is worth the trip.

The mountain had thin spots and bare ground in several areas, mostly on runs off of the Morningstar lift. They had groomers out, and were doing there best to keep things in good shape. If you ski mostly blue and black runs, you will deal with icy runs. If you ski mostly greens, use the cat tracks to get to the middle of Sunshine or try blues. The greens are where most of the issues are.
