Capture the elusive Southwest past at the Sagebrush Inn. Long a Taos landmark the inn offers tradition aesthetics and comfort - all at a reasonable price. Three miles South of Taos it is removed from the crowds yet easily accessible to attractions in the area. All guests receive a full complimentary breakfast each morning. Two indoor hot tubs nightly live entertainment and country line dancing are available for guests relaxation. An outdoor pool can be used in the summer. The Los Vaqueros dining room offers fine dining specializing in prime rib rack of lamb fresh fish and New Mexican cuisine. Our pueblo mission-style inn was built in 1929 catering to well-to-do guests traveling between New York and Arizona. The painter Georgia O'Keeffe lived here for six months during the 1940's working in the only third story room. All 100 rooms are delightfully decorated with hand-carved furniture and Mexican tiled bathrooms. Accent rugs pottery lamps vigas tin light fixtures as well as televisions and phones enhance each room. Many rooms have kiva fireplaces that add a warm romantic feel to an evening.
