Vrådal, situated in the heart of Telemark, has been a meeting point for ages. Vrådal offers activities all year round. The hotel has 125 rooms, 2 restaurants, 2 bars, 1 pub, conference wing, swimming pool, terrace and an old style drawing room. In addition we have our own horse centre, a veteran boat for sighseeing and an activity area by the lake. The hotel was established in 1864 by the Straand family. Today, 5th generation of the same family manages the hotel. We try to keep some of the history alive and a visit to the old part of the hotel will bring you back in time. Traditions are important to us. Espesially at Christmas our guests will experienced that. We offer a traditional Norwegian Christmas celebration with a warm atmosphere.
