The location (800 metres above sea level) is undisturbed and with a nice view over the lake Steinsetfjorden and the surrounding area. The nearest town is Fagernes (15 km). Tracks for cross-country skiing are found only 800 metres from the cabin in winter, and it is 28 km to the alpine skiing facilities of Valdres Alpinsenter. The area is well suited for experiencing nature year round, for instance by angling in lakes nearby, and going hiking and bicycling. The cabin has a living room with TV, VCR and DVD, kitchenette and dining table. Two bedrooms and a loft have beds for 6-8 persons of which one room with a double bed and the other with a family bunk bed (3). In addition there is a double bed and a sofa bed on the loft (2-3). In an annexe there is a newly built bathroom with shower and sauna. Organic toilet is placed in own room in the cabin. Outside there is a fireplace and outdoor furniture. In winter cars must be parked by the main road, approx. 40 metres from the cabin.
