Ždiar / Strednica Overview

Ski resort Ždiar / Strednica is a part of typical mountain village Ždiar, famous for its folk architecture and folklore. The ski area is situated in between Belianske Tatras, representing the eastern part of the High Tatras and the Spis Magura. Slopes in this ski area are suitable for beginners. The slopes of this center are covered by a snowmaking system. Ski resort Ždiar / Strednica is located in the Tatra National Park, the area declared by UNESCO as a "biosphere reserve". Ski Ždiar / Strednica is close to ski resort such as Štrbské Pleso, Starý Smokovec, Tatranská Lomnica and Ždiar. It also offers night skiing, discos on the snow, snow paragliding, flying in tandem, and other attractions.
