  • La Clusaz upgrades Etale ski area

    La Clusaz in France is currently completing redevelopment of its Etale ski area at a cost of 12m Euros. This winter, visitors will find two new ski lifts: a quad chairlift with a conveyor belt that will serve the higher section of the Etale massif, and an ultramodern ‘Telemix', which is a combination of chairlift and gondola.     High altitude Avoriaz in France has launched a publicity campaign highlighting its excellent snow record.     France's Grand Massif ski area was fully open at the weekend. The area covers five ski resorts, amongst which there is currently 80cm (32 inches) of snow in Flaine and 95cm (38 inches) above the slopes at Samoens 1600, and 120cm (four feet) at the top on the ski area. Full Article
