The purpose built centre Superbagnères was linked by gondola lift to the old spa town of Luchon in 1994. The resort is dominated by a Grand Hôtel Club and offers scenic views of the Pyrenées highest peak, the glaciated Picole Aneto (3404m).

    Beautiful setting, great town for non-skiiers, tree-lined pistes

    Pros: Tree lined pistes, Gondola to town, Luchon town and Thermals - prices
    Cons: small, Lac Chairlift has no safety foot bars.
