Between Ecrins and Queyras, in the heart of the Hautes-Alpes, the Guillestrois valley is a vast area of unspoiled nature. The terrain sprawls from 858 m at the level of the Durance river, peaking at 3385 m altitude for the Pic de la Font Sancte.

The Guillestrois houses the ski area of la Forêt Blanche, union of two high-altitude, Risoul and Vars, which allows the practice of all type of winter glides.
