Full review

A disappointing week in Klosters / Davos, second week of March 2011. The resort is broken up into several small ski areas linked by buses & trains. The on-mountain equipment is old (left over from the 70s), most lifts are T-bars & some double T-bars which makes the mountains look like a pin cushion tied together with wires. I would rate this district as the worst I have been to in Europe by far. It is expensive with limited, low quality dining on the slopes. The last run of the day back to Klosters is like a autobahn with a mix of beginners, hoons & experienced skiiers escaping, it gets worn out by late afternoon & is simply dangerous. Not a good way to spoil a day of fairly ordinary skiing.
