While it is lesser known in Switzerland than Verbier and Zermatt, I was pleasantly surprised by Lenzerheide-Valbella. The area offers skiing on either side of a beautiful valley, making it one of the largest ski areas that I've been to. One major downside of Lenzerheide however, is the lack of mogul runs. Despite the huge number of acres of skiable terrain, theres barely a mogul to be found. While there are many steeps, and a large amount of room to ski powder, if you enjoy moguls, I recommend you go to another area. Verbier for instance offers the Mont Fort and Tortin runs, which are some of the best mogul runs in Europe.
Verdict: If you can do without moguls, Lenzerheide is a wonderful area for skiiers of all ability levels. If you are looking for bump runs, try somewhere else.
