We visited Jan 1-3 and had one of the best time skiing in Southern VT in the last 5 years. The lodge is a no frills type of place. If you want to ski the standard groomed courdroy than this is not the resort for you. If you like Natural cover that can be a little rough on your skis at times, then this is the place. When there is alot of the fresh stuff this is the diamond in the rough of southern VT skiing. They have terrain for all levels with some very challenging glades. The lifts are a litlle slow and older, but when there are no lines then it doesn't matter. This resort will be better come mid Jan. We are going back for Feb. I'll update again then. We stayed at the resort last year but skied Okemo as it was early season and they didnot have enough terrain open. The resort at the time was owned by Orange lake which has since changed hands to Holiday Inn. Our condo was nice and new but drafty. Pretty much all of the resort ammenities were in some sort of construction last year. This time we rented a house on Skyhawk which was wondeful so I can't comment on the resort. It looks like more things are open though. They do not have a terrain park.
