Good location, unspoilt village.
Not much there.

Cesana is a small village that doesn't feel much like a ski resort. It's in one of the best locations on the Milky Way though, with Claviere and Montgenevre over the border in France on the one side and Sestriere and Cesana on the other. There are new chairlifts on the edge of the village that get you up the hill fast in the morning and the purpose built Sansicario was just above, with its 2006 Olympic slopes. So if you like to stay in a pretty basic, but original Italian village with a giant ski area on your doorstep and don't mind that there's only a handful of shops, bars and restaurants then Cesana is for you.
