I spent two weeks in Park City last month, skiing mostly Deer Valley. This is simply the greatest ski resort. Everything about the place is extraordinary!
Grooming is fantastic, so on the odd day when the snow isn't so great, they do everything that can be done.
The restaurants serve delicious food, and they limit the number of lift tickets that are sold so that the food service won't be overcrowded. You'll look forward to lunch!
The ski school is the best I've ever seen, after many many lessons in lots of ski areas. The instructors are all senior people with years of experience. A lesson at Deer Valley is expensive but it's terrific. The group lessons that are limited to 4 people of similar ability are a bargain.
Nightlife in nearby Park City is great.
