Full review

For northeast PA skiing, you can't do better than Elk. The runs are varied and long(ish) for a PA mountain. Theyve invested a lot in their snow-making equipment and it shows; every time I have been there they have a great base of snow (NOT ice, as with most resorts in this area) and the ungroomed runs have fun bumps that are still icy but not too large or canoed as to be not fun anymore. Lots of families, but also a fun bar inside the lodge. Yeungling on tap!
