Ok, so first things first, Telluride is the best around. You might disagree and say " but the snow was so bad." Guess what, thats because they havent gotten very much snow. If this place has snow to ski on it is worth it. If Whistler and Telluride had the same snowfall, Telluride wins easily. With plenty of snow this place is unbeatable. The lines are nowhere to be found once all the terrain is open. However, right now with the lack of snow this year, it can be sketchy. The lines can get bigger with the lack of terrain open and most people trying to hit the good stuff. With decent snow and everything open, Telluride=unbeatable. With current conditions, weak base, holiday noobs flooding the mountain=worth it but not full potential. If possible, skiing later in the season will be best at this place. Mountain Village is awesome. Its nice to have a place to hang out right at the bottom of the runs. Free parking lots, excellent black terrain when its all open and plenty of challenging Blue runs. Everyone saying Telluride isnt what its cracked up to be clearly has not been on a good or even average day.
