Huge terrain, Utah snow, great lifts, fab town
PCMR is one of world's best - I know because I've been almost everywhere, including summer ski trips to Chile and Argentina. It's got huge amounts of terrain for all levels and a lot of it lets you pick a line and go for it, especially in the trees. It's all hugely rewarding for those who want to explore, and really everyday you can discover new routes off the trail map just by turning left or right, particularly in the bowls of Jupiter Peak and Puma Bowl.. They really keep this mountain in tip top shape with beautiful grooming for those who prefer that, great lifts keep folks on the slopes more than the lines, although it gets crowded at the typical holiday periods. To top it all off is the great town of Park City with terrific restaurants, shops, historic western Main St. AND a lift going right into the center of it - a huge plus for those staying right in town because you don't need a car and that lift NEVER has a line compared with the other side of the resort where most of the lifts are, you just ski over to those at the top and then ski home to town at the end of the day - brilliant! I recommend staying at the Silver Queen boutique holet or the Marriott Summit Watch both a block from the town lift, there's also a large variety of condo options downtown too from budget to luxe. Last but not least is that amazing UTAH SNOW which is usually in huge abundance, light, soft and truly the world's best! Just down ther road are Deer Valley and the Canyons and you hop on the free shuttle service to get to them, if all this at your doorstep don't get you smiling nothing will.
