Overall, Stevens Pass is a fantastic ski/snowboard area. It has just enough terrain to be interesting over a season, you will find your favorite area or two and love it. For advanced riders, there is a fair amount of steep runs, and of course lots of blue/green as well. 3 high speed chairs are mixed in with older 2/3 person lifts. When the snow is good, this place is awesome. And the area can a serious amount of snow very quickly. The temps are usually not that cold (pro and con, really).

Stevens Pass is one of 3 ski mountains within 2 hours driving of Seattle (Mt. Baker is about 3 ours). None of these places has a real alpine village, rather they are geared towards day trippers/locals. This means that there is little infrastructure for hotels/condos and eating/entertainment.

Getting there should be a 1.5 hour drive from Seattle (wether permitting), but keep in mind half the drive is a two lane highway, which sometimes gets backed up. Give yourself time to drive up.

Leavenworth is a really cool mountain town just east of Stevens Pass, great place to stay.

In the summer, there is now Mountain Biking at Stevens!
