Doesnt ski great on super deep lonely days . Once tracks get put in over the benches it opens up terrain that takes days to track up . I have ridden there well over 130 days and still find new lines/zones/pillows . When its snowing all the way to valley floor and the temps stay good some great lines to had .
When its raining the Summit chair can get snow and be fun . When its raining on top of Summit its raining at Brundage too .
There are some unknown tree lines that when its good top to bottom would make the haters do a double take . When Wildwood was running ,and the snow was good , you could do the bowls off the top back to lifts (sidecountry) it was hands down the best skiing in SW Idaho .
During this last hardpack cycle it still wasnt bad . Smooth because it doesnt ever get too hammered and the wind can buff out lines off Summit . Finish it off with groomed runs that actually soften up and spring conditions on the bottom half . Ice ,wind pack , recycled powder , fresh groomer , spring conditions ,all in one run .
It can suck too if it rains and doesnt snow and then freezes . Same can be said for anywhere .
Check it out , the grooming is best around for you cruisers and for the powder hounds , can you have fun now wilson ? Bring your speed , some fresh wax , your rocker boards , an open mind , and point it !
