Lacking Magic Carpet on Bunny Hill

Full review

Ski Brule is one of our favorite resorts to visit. Why? They do everything possible to make sure you have a great on the hill and off the hill experience. Jessica, who runs the place is very friendly, hands on and visible. Her staff follows her lead. They treat you how you want to be treated as a guest. The hill itself is very nice offering a wide variety of runs. Maple Syrup, Homstead and Norty forty are nice cruising runs for a beginner. The snowboard park is good featuring more jumps than rail stuff. Timberdoodle and Double Doodle are fun winding runs. Big bear will get your heart pumping a bit with a big steep drop. The back runs are usually uncrowded and are nice for everyone. There are never really any long lift lines at Brule even during Christmas week. The main lodge offers a pro-shop, lessons, quick service restaurant, bar, and lodging reservations/check in. There is a separate building for childcare, tech shop and rentals. Homestead Lodge is a cool log cabin building that is ski in/ski out on the backside of the hill. It is warmed by several old wood stoves. They also have food and refreshments for guests. The learn to ski programs and lessons are excellent. If you buy tickets online early you can get some nice discounts. They also have a lot of night activities for guests. A magic carpet on the Bunny hill would be a nice for beginners as many kids struggle with rope tows. Also we wish they had more night skiing just because we'd always love to stay longer at Brule!
