Rotten trail map, poor on slope signposting

Full review

Spent a day at Alta last week with my 15 y o son. We loved the snow quality (powder) and quantity (lots), the variety of slopes and lack of queues. This was our first visit and for the first hour we were put off by the poor map and on-slope signposting. Once we started to ignore this and just ski the hills that looked fun then we had a blast. Great for confident intermediates and above but I wouldn't recommend for weak intermediates as its often not clear which trails are which and hence which ones they should be choosing.
