Lift lines, Enormous!

Full review

I went to Vail in February 2009 and it was a great mountain for skiing. The back bowls are incredible here. It is untouched and the snow is powdery. Due to a wildfire back in the day it is wide open and the runs are extremely long. The back bowls are the only reason to come here. The front side was decent and Blue Sky Basin had some steep slopes and outrageous tree runs. The bad thing about Vail, and most people know this, is that it is extremely busy and the lift lines are so long. You would spend too much time in the lines rather than on the mountain. Fortunately for me i took an adventure guide which was awesome because we got to cut in line and i got to challenge myself on some tougher runs. I suggest that if you go to Vail make sure you hit the backside and get a guide to avoid lift lines
