The town of Breckenridge itself is incredibly quaint and charming, almost as if nuances from the Wild West have survived the generations. At the heart of the town is Breck, one of the hallmark resorts of the state. This destination may be best serving to the intermediate rider, however, as the above-treeline terrain is limited to long hikes up/across peaks 7 and 8.
