Skiing up hill off lifts to ski down hill

Full review

We were at Big Powderhorn 2/25 - 2/28. Snow was awesome, powder was good. We had beginners to advanced intermediate skiers and snow boarders. The greens are GREEN and some of the blues are green also but everyone found something they liked. The only run I didn't go down was Virtual Drop, to much grass and didn't have it in me that day. One thing that none of us liked was that we had to ski up hill from a lot of the lifts to go down hill. Not sure why they do that but if it is to keep beginners off some slopes, they may need to think that out better. There is a little trail there called Crazy Trail, not for beginners but a very fun trail, pot holes and trees combined with a little speed was awesome. We stopped had one of the wine huts on our last day to find out that they are rental wine huts. We wish that we would have known that in the beginning. That would have been awesome to have a cookout on the hill. All in all we had a very good time and may be back next year. JHull
