The Giffre valley (vallée du Giffre in French) is a small region in the heart of Haute-Savoie. Easily accessible, it offers a wild and authentic surroundings.

It includes the resorts of Morillon, Samoëns, Sixt Fer à Cheval and Praz de Lys Sommand. These family resorts allow great ski too, the first 3 being in fact part of the Grand Massif skiing area.

Nordic ski is also honored in the Giffre valley with the Espace Nordique du Haut-Giffre and the nordic area of Praz de Lys Sommand, which is one of the most extensive of Haute-Savoie.
