Women’s Powder skis have evolved into a fusion of on- and off-piste powder slayers. Though all share a commonality of at least 100-mm waist widths plus rocker technology, their personalities differ: some borrow from race construction, offering up decent hardpack performance; others have a symmetrical sidecuts with park and pipe attitudes, while yet another subset possesses a surfy, playful personality. Many contain women-specific cores designed to be lightweight, yet torsionally strong, while others include a sheet of metal. Stiff or soft flexing, at their core, these Powder skis offer flotation for the fluff and crud-busting ability to boot.
