Rossignol's user-friendly Freeride S-series has something for every shape, size and skiing ability. Ertl called the Super 7 "a fun, surfy powder ski," and true to its soft snow calling, the Super 7 is available in only two lengths (188 and 195). At 117 mm underfoot, the Super 7 has a full wood core, vertical sidewalls and Rossi's PowderTurn Rocker, or high rocker in the tip and pin-shaped tail and camber underfoot. "A sweet blend of everything you want," said Mahon. "It loves to skid in mixed conditions, cut through crud or respond quickly in bumps." The metal-reinforced Super 7 is stiffer than the S7 (available in sizes ranging from 168-188 and made with lightweight carbon). Want to go really big? The Squad 7 is available only in 190 cm and features a similar profile and construction as the Super 7, but with a layer of basalt instead of titanium.
