Atomic's All-Mountain Nomad family houses five models, varying in waist widths from 93 mm down to 77 mm. As the middle sibling, the Blackeye Ti received kudos for its versatility. "This is a good performing ‘all-arounder' and can do a bit of everything," said Beidleman. The Blackeye Ti's "all-around" personality comes from an 82 mm waist and Atomic's Adaptive Rocker profile, which blends the benefits of slight tip rise with traditional camber. Titanium, Atomic's Step Down Sidewalls and a wood core create an All-Mountain ski that can handle mixed snow while providing racer-like edge grip. "There's no chatter or vibration, even at speed. This ski is super stable," said Mahon.
