The Zeal aims to offer hard snow performance, flotation and maneuverability. To increase versatility, Elan combines an 88 mm waist with moderate tip rocker and camber underfoot. Elan increases torsional stability without adding excess weight by using a ALU profile made up of a thin aluminum topsheet with two sheets of titanal covering a laminated, lightweight wood core underneath. "It handles like a wide GS race ski," said Alder. "Good stability, just bring your own energy," added Koehn
