The all new Soul 7 (part of the 7 Series which replaces the S-Series) features Rossi's new Air Tip technology—a honeycomb design in the tip and tail that reduces core weight and swing weight. Further weight reduction comes from a lightweight paulownia wood core along with sandwich sidewalls and progressive tip and tail rocker. The 106 millimeter-waisted Soul 7 scored highest for playfulness and lower for carving up the groomers. "Powder is this ski's wheelhouse," Bills said. "This is more of a big mountain ski but could be a one-ski quiver for those who spend most of their day in soft snow." "It's nimble and pivots easily," Gaudet added. "The tip stays on top of soft snow and doesn't miss a step going from crud to other conditions. It's a playful and forgiving ski for true All-Mountain cruising.”
