"This ski is more at home in the soft snow than the hard, but it’s well-balanced and easy to stay on top of," Gaudet said. Testers gave the TST highest scores for stability. Bristow said "it feels stable on- and off-piste at speed.” Design specs of the TST include tip rocker, full sandwich construction and Armada’s Hybrid UltraLight Core, made of lightweight wood plus fiberglass layered in a lattice pattern. The tip and tail are relatively soft and the widest part of the ski is found at the contact point (132 millimeters at 183 centimeters). The TST customizes the sidecut for each of the four lengths offered—at 192 centimeters, for example, the waist is 103 millimeters, tapering down in each size run.
