Head Kore 93 ski review, 2017/2018 men's All-Mountain Front Category, from our equipment experts at Realskiers.com powered by Masterfit.

For the lightweight skier, Head's new Kore 93 might be the perfect do-it-all ski. Not that the ski is a slouch for the average-sized skier, but it’s hard to overlook how light it is—until you go skiing and discover that minimal mass is only the beginning. Kore 93 easily slips around tight trees, pours through moguls as if it were liquid and floats as well or better than its All-Mountain Front fellow skis. Head took its time figuring out how to best apply Graphene—carbon that's a miraculous one-atom thick—to dedicated off-trail skis, and the effort spent on R&D shows. Combined with Koroyd honeycomb and Karuba, Graphene imparts insane strength (steel X 300) with the weight of, well, atoms. Not content with this degree of weight reduction, Head also tossed the usual topsheet, replacing it with a proprietary polyester/fleece. Here’s how it all plays out: “WOW!” wrote Winks of California Ski Company. “This ski felt like it had an endless, floaty edge that I could move, turn or pivot with just my thoughts. Smiles for hours off-piste!”
