Val Thorens will open a six kilometre (three-and-three-quarter-mile-long) lift-served toboggan run with a fall of 700 metres (2200 feet) this winter.

Late October storms rolled through Alberta's Jasper National Park this weekend dumping 20 inches of snow in five days at Marmot Basin. To complement Mother Nature, the resort prepared to fire up their new snowmaking system this week. Full Article
