Messilä Holiday Centre Overview

Messilä Holiday Centre

Based around an old manor that is more than 500 years old, Messilä is an idyllic estate where you can still capture the spirit of the old days. Messilä is located in Hollola, not far from the renowed sports town Lahti, and served by excellent and fast connections. The nearest airport in Helsinki, which-just like Tampere-is only a hour's drive away. The ridges of Salpauselkä, along with the nearby lake Vesijärvi, create an outstanding setting for a versatile recreation centre. Located in Southern Finland's largest and highest slopes - all nine of them. You have direct acceess from Messilä to the illuminated ski tracks, which meander on the rolling ridges of Salpausselkä are the venue for both the Salpausselkä skiing competition and the Finlandia skiing event. Messilä organises snowmobile safaris by arrangement. In addition to the basic packages, a customised alternative can be arranged to suit your group. There are a range of accomodation and catering alternatives available from open air options to modern hotels.
