  • Best pre-Christmas weekend in 45 years

    This last weekend December 8th-10th became the best ever pre-Christmas weekend in the 45 year history of Hemsedal Ski Centre. The snow conditions are superb with 70 cm of snow up in the mountains and around 60 cm down at the base. There is so much snow in the terrain that skiing is possible everywhere. Only a few destinations in Europe have as good skiing conditions as Hemsedal at the moment. Full Article

  • Beyoncé and Scissor Sisters Booked to Rock In The Snow at Ischgl

    Pop sensation Beyoncé will be the latest top act to star in Ischgl's traditional season-closing Top of the Mountain concert at the end of April. As if the American star's booking wasn't enough to underline Ischgl's credentials as the Alps' most star-studded resort, the Scissor Sisters will headline the Tirolean resort's Easter mountaintop open air concert.   • Freestyle World Championships In Madonna di Campiglio

    The 11th FIS Freestyle World Ski Championships kick of on Monday in Madonna di Campiglio, Trentino, Italy and run to Saturday 10th March. The Opening Ceremony will take place on the resort's frozen lake. The Championships were originally scheduled to be staged from 20th – 27th January but had to be postponed due to a lack of snow.
