Bring Your Parent To Powder Day
Dec 11, 2007 By Jill Adler
The parent skis free at Powder with the purchase of a full price child's lift ticket Saturday, Dec. 15, to kick-off the season. There is no age limit. Although children six and younger ski free with a paying adult, it's a better deal to buy a child's lift pass so the parent receives the freebie Saturday. This is a multi-generational event with a prize for the family with the most generations represented. Powder will host a fun-filled day of skiing, boarding, games, and prizes. Free introductory rail slide clinics will be conducted by the Snow Sports School's Teen X instructors, and a hula hoop competition and scavenger hunt will keep all ages entertained, whether a participant or a spectator.
Plus, it's opening day so there will be loads of fresh snow. Children 13 or older will need an adult ticket, so then it becomes a Buy-One-Get-Free.
