There are plenty of interesting pass opportunities at Mission Ridge near Wenatchee, Wash. There are five deals, in fact. First Turns is a package of three beginning level lessons, a season pass, and rental privileges for the whole season. Price is $329, but the quantity will be limited. A basic pass is good any day the resort is open to the public and is good for 50 percent off all Night Ski Saturdays.

It includes five free days at Silver Mountain, five more at White Pass, and 25 percent off lift tickets at Apex Mountain. An unlimited pass is available any time. Pick up a college pass for all students registered for 12 undergraduate or 8 graduate credits at an accredited college or university. Price is $299 until Dec. 16.
