Smart ticket buyers will head for La Norma, France. Buy a six-day ticket online at least three weeks before you are due to arrive at the resort and automatically get a seventh day free.

Children up to age 12 ski free if you visit during the last three weeks of the season, March 31 to April 19.

If you're just making a short visit, it's best to opt for Saturday when lift tickets for adults are just 17€ for the day instead of 21€, and 15€ instead of 17€ for children. Offers cannot be combined.
