Mt. LaCrosse is a giant glacier in my opinion. 70% of the time you will catch an icy day. I dont feel the staff takes good care of the hill, and if you are looking for a place to catch a thrill in a terrain park, I highly recommend going somewhere else. The terrain park is about 100 yards long with VERY few rails and even fewer poorly constructed kickers. On a better note, Mt. LaCrosse does have a good verticle drop.

I consider myself a intermediate to advanced skier and this hill is alot of fun. I appreciate that there aren't many green runs. The hill has a great vertical drop. It's definately one of the better hills in Wisconsin and I've been to nearly all of them. The chalet and accomodations are below average but at my last visit it did appear construction was being done. It's worth making a trip to this hill. I do think from the looks that snowboaders may want more terrain but as far as skiing I really enjoy this hill.

very icy. I was in college there and took snowboarding class. The conditions were terrible. There is no such thing as a green run there due to the constriction nature of such run. I've never seen a green with so narrow a trail. One wrong move and you're in the 'terrain park'.

Mostly bad runs except for one, conditions are always very icey. Falls can be dangerous on their snow because of the ice and they usually result in skin loss when you make contact with the snow. Prices are way too high for the quality of the hill.
