What a great season at Mt Spokane. We went up several times during the season and all of us had a wonderful time. My Children participated in a lesson program and the Ski School was wonderful. The instructor did great with a class of eight beginners all around 9 years old. After the first day they were all able to get on the beginner lift, buy the third day of lessons they were on the blue runs. The staff does a great job with the facilities they have to work with. Since it is a non-profit ski area, with no ones large pocket book to help them out, I encourage anyone who likes to ski at a family friendly, easy paced ski area to help them in their quest to get funding for a new lodge and future expansion. Food service could use some work but tickets, rentals, lessons, grooming, and overall experience was great.

this is a non-profit mountiqn qne in mqny ways it shows, very little cate for improvements and upkeep, very slow chairs and the lift shack on top of #1 chair looks like it could fall down any minute, as for sking, it is very utilitarian, it serves the purpose and can have some great days. ticket office is poorly run, long waits to get rentals since you have no form filling out until you get to the desk, I waited for alarge group to individually fill out every form, maddening on a busy morning, I be very picky on which days I go up. I would rather drive the extra to ski Schweitzer

My fiance and I took my 14 year old son, my 24 year old son, and other family members to Mt.Spokane on New Years Day. It was the very first time that my two boys had ever been to ski resort as well as snowboarding. We were there the entire day, we all found the slopes to be great, the staff was wonderful, the only grip that my mother and I had is that there was no fireplace, and no mixed drinks in the lodge as well as the windows we could hardly see out of, all in all we had a wonderful time and plan on returning on week-end of the 20th of January. Thank you for the experience.

I was renting skis from a local rental shop and they asked me where I was going to go ski at, I said Mt.Spokane and they said I was not aloud to rent from them if I was going to Mt.Spokane because of the amount of rocks in the snow.
I went anyways with my a friends old pair of skis and frankly I do not want to go back.
People we not that friendly and the conditions were not that great.
So I would not recommend for anyone learning to ski to go to Mt.Spokane.
I had a much more enjoyable experience at 49 Degrees North and I would recommend it to anyone.

I would not suggest this resort to any first time skiers. I found the staff to be rude, impatient and intimidating. For an example, my daughter is a first time skier and on her second run down the bunny hill she got going a little to fast and managed to dodge several snowboarders that were sitting on the ground and forgot the basics of snowplowing from the lessons she took earlier that morning. Needless to say, one of the staffers yelled at my eleven year old and then threatened that she could take away her lift ticket. Very rude, impatient and intimidating place for first time skiers. I do need to commend the rental shop, they were very busy today, but they were very professional and accomodating.

I've skied Mt Spokane about 20 days this season. The Mt Spokane web weather report can be overly optimistic at times. There's been lots of foggy days! No lines at the lifts during the week. AFFORDABLE skiing! Easy access from Spokane....with roads better plowed and sanded than city side streets.

Feb 28.....has anyone else ever seen seen such a powder day at Mt Spokane? I am still grinning @ midnite. The new gladed runs were superb and I was a diehard Schweitzer fan,

Great local hill. There are usually no lift lines during the week. Out of bounds area is good. People and staff are friendly.
