My family had an excellent time at Bolton. From the valet parking offered upon are arrival to the great ski instructors, we felt the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The mountian had great snow and reportedly recieves more powder than area resorts because of its west facing slopes. The flat bread pizza was great and our slope side condo was afforadable and exremely convenient. We will return for more fun.

Quite a disappointment. The terrain is mediocre and actually quite boring. The facilities are old and dirty. There seem to be a lot of beginners and kids, but for us who like to ski hard this was not the place to be.

It was a great experience. The rentals are ok but you can just go down the mountain to the Ski Barn. It's great there. The manager/owner/storekeeper's name is Tim. He's a great guy. Bolton valley doesn't have many lift lines but when they do, it's like a 5 min. wait. They have a great view from their chair lifts and at the peak. I love the spring conditions like in march. They just made a new terrain park. They have pretty descent jumps.

We visited the first week of March, the slopes and trails were in great shape and we received two feet of snow over three days! Great place for the whole family. The restaurants offered a variety of options (although the Pizza and Baileys were closed on Monday and Tuesday) Only negative are the accommodations ... we were placed in a two bedroom Courtside Condo, place has not been updated in over 30 years. They need a major overhaul, dirty .. smelly.. can't understand how they expect customers to come back with these accommodations. Although the skiing was outstanding, the place has forced us to try someplace different next year.

Had a great day skiing BV today. Tons of powder and some great glades to enjoy it in. The resort has a nice family feel to it. Enjoyed riding the new quad to the summit and also the Timberline quad. This ski area is an affordable alternative in northern Vermont.
