If you're looking for big and busy, then go somewhere else. If you're looking to just get away from it all and surround yourself with excellent service, outstanding quisine, lodgeing and breathtaking scenery, then Sundance is for you.
Robert Redford's elegant and sophisticated taste is apparent everywhere you look. The food is exceptional at the Tree Room and Grill. The scenery is among the most beautiful of any resort in North America, and this year the snow is phenominal. The apres ski is exceptional if you are desiring five star food, lodging, and a relaxing, romantic, ambiance
Great range of ski runs - a world famous Treeroom restaurant and reasonably priced Timpcreek Suites where we could walk to the lift. Friendly people - pristine beauty - no crowds - and solitude. There is grand mountain that creates an ampitheater atmosphere and a crystal clear stream that flows through the resort; its a story book setting. the private preserve of Robert Redford. If you want night life and noise - go to Park City - leave Sundance for those that prefer family values and scerenity

Overall Sundance resort is a great value, providing a great family experience and overall rustic, scenic, ambiance. If you're into smoking down the mountain at top speeds this resort isn't for you. If you're into jumps or terrain parks don't even bother, they do not have a terrain park, and there are no groomed jumps at sundance. If you're looking for a small, family - friendly, resort at a good value then sundance is for you. If you're looking for pretty much anything else don't even bother.
Like a mountain movie set, Robert Redford’s resort captures the sublime mood of the old western ski village. Explore it via the additional 20 kilometers of groomed cross-country trails at the Sundance Nordic Center. Sundance Resort installed snowmaking equipment on the lower mountain a few seasons ago but because they are the most southern of the Northern Utah resorts the season often starts late and ends early. You can also count on uncrowded slopes so long as BYU classes are in session. It can get a little boring riding the same few lifts over and over again so take the opportunity to learn a new sport. If you ski, snowboard. If you board, ski. If you already do both, tele-ski. And save your appetite for a full-blown lunch or early dinner at the base's Foundry Grill. Yummm!
