I can't beleive how lucky i am to live just 30 minutes from "the beav". An amazing place ... reminds me of what skiing was like when i was a kid. Affordable, family friendly, and almost never crowded.

I've raised my kids skiing at the Beav. If you are looking for fast lifts and leg busting bumps, this isn't the place for you. If you are looking for some great tree skiing, a place where you can relax with your kids and enjoy skiing the way it was before $70+ lift tickets, this is the perfect spot. You can even afford to buy lunch in the lodge without a second mortgage, and my kids claim the the Beav makes the best french fries in the world. The groomers can be a little boring, but with the help of a cheap ski instructor, you can ski the whole day on back country style runs and never see the same spot twice. Ski the Beav!
I had a season pass here for 5 years throughout college. I grew to love this resort, the backcountry access is amazing! The main mountain is fun for cruising around when there isn't any new snow on the backside. Very freindly mountain and on weekdays you'll have the entire mountain to yourself.

Great hill!. Not the steepest mountain around but there is a lot of backcountry access and great snow.
