I was at Bromont last weekend with my two kids.I have to say I was pleasantly suprised,lots of variety,seven distinct faces,good snow.They groom constanly thru the day.Crowds were easily avoided by moving to one of the "back" peaks.Some good glades,lots of cruisers and a very good beginner hill,I'd go back.

Bromont is a fantastic suburban ski area for families. First, it is VERY close to downtown Montreal. Second, it has the BEST layout for families with young children, as the pony "hill" is right next to the base lodge. Parents can take turns sitting in the lodge and watching their infants learn to ski right outside the window. The pony hill is outstanding, the perfect pitch and with a great traction lift. As for the "mountain," it's a nice place to teach kids to ski. You'd never go there if you were only adults, unless it was to night ski-there is an incredible night ski infrastructure- I've never seen so much light on a hillside.

This place was great!!! Only a 30-40 minute drive from Montreal. Lots of good, well groomed trails on seven hillsides...plenty of snow...Lights cover most of the mountain for some great night skiing till 10pm. On certain Saturday nights, they stay open till 2am. I will definitely go back and highly recommend it!!! Check it out at www.skibromont.com
