We both love Alpine Mountain. It's rarely crowded. Staff are friendly and helpful. Trails are well maintained. It's the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of the bigger ski resorts.

Had a great time with the family this past weekend. Easy access, no crowds, able to get tix and rentals quickly. Instructors friendly and had a low student to teacher ratio. Perfect bunny hill for beginners with easy lift. Not a place for thrills; great to learn to ski and to have the kids learn to parallel ski.

Alpine is a small mountain it is a great place to teach someone to ski.
The beginners lift is very good for new skiers. Mountain seldom crowded. I went this past saturday for the morning session on Jan 5th 2008. 8am to 12:30 PM the lift ticket price was 39 DOLLARS.39 Dollars for 4 and a half hours skiing!!! plus only a few trails were open and the grooming was terrible.
Will not return because of high prices for such a small mountain.

Best Little Hill in the Pocono's. Undiscovered. Very Family oriented. Only 'issue' is that good skiers will be quickly bored. Lifts are too slow. Management needs to get their act together and become more customer friendly. You can ski here. Short liftlines on the weekends, uncrowded slopes.
