Not pleased with Alpine Valley. The attendants at the lifts are rude and on the cell phone. They will not even slow the lifts for children. The classes are not very good either. The lifts do not even have safety bars. Very poor resort. It is worth driving a little farther for a better ski experience.

never have the resort 100% open even though they get way more snow than any other resort in Ohio. Very small, for beginners only.

good group of people. only problem is size- good for a quick warm up to knock the dust off, just takes longer to ride the lift up then to ski down. Would be a great place to teach younger kids since there is nothing to challenging and with the short runs there they wouldn't get to tired and loose interest.
