Great place to learn and get a feel for skiing. Without the use of chairlifts you are always on your feet, which is great for learning. Amazing trainers and staff make this place a very good place to go to have a fun relaxing time away from the other local place. Prices are very affordable too. Their race program is legendary with many amazing skiers leaving their program.

Great job!!!! Keep up the good work.

Brantling is perhaps the best family and learning environment out of all of NY's resorts. Staff is exceptional and it is easy to feel at home here. Smaller, not crowded facility is great for learning and getting a lot of practice runs. Fantastic instructional programs for all ages with caring instructors.

A beginers place to learn only;great for beginers!
Any kind of skiing outside of green trails is not here at all!
No challenge for intermediate or experts;you'll be bored after just one run!
Medicore food, small unimpressive bar,and a "locals only" crowd.
No place to stay nearby either.

Poor terrain.
Friendly staff;owners wife very surley.
No apres' ski at all.
No atmosphere at all.
Far from nearest motel or restaurant.
A place for people from the nearby area and not much else.
Too many better areas to ski on.
Lots of kids all over the place;many out-of-control

A great place for children to learn. There are no chairlifts so kids are on their skis all the time and learn to balance and "feel" their skiis & the snow. The staff is always willing to help & instructors very dedicated & caring. The slope height may be small but you can get lots of runs for a fun time and lots of practice. There are lessons, races, family nights etc

And hang around for awhile upstairs and meet some great people, have some hot food, warm drinks, and maybe even a German beer with the owner and his wife. It can't be all bad if an Olympic gold medalist, Diane Roffe learned at Brantling. Section 5 skiiers from Brantling have had great sucess & several skiers have gone from Brantling to ski academy's in New England like Burke etc.

Don't waste your mone at this very local slope!!! The staff is friendly and the place is family-friendly but the terrain is poor, the slopes are medicore and forget any apres-ski activities. This place is just for locals who cannot get to a real slope to ski on.
