i started snowboarding at kissing bridge 4 years ago and have gone back every year. If your an expert the slopes may be alittle easy for you, but its perfect for everyone else. I know people who love the terrain park better than any other around. the lifts take afew minutes to get up, but if all the slopes are open the line never gets too long. this season has not been a good one, but i would recommend kb to almost everyone

I live in the Buffalo, NY area. KB is very convienent. It has been a excellent place to teach my three young children to ski. The ski school does a good job teaching children. I have season lift tickets for my whole family which are afforadable and preferred due to the fluxuation of ski conditions. Especially this year, the weather has not cooperated well..It's warm, then cold, warm, cold, making snow difficult for KB. If not for my season lift pass, then I would struggle with paying for lift tickets when the number of trails have been slim thus far. I agree with previous remarks about the single lift being open on poor condition days, as well as the website. Live webcams, a better online trail map, better open trail report, etc, would be nice.
Overall, expert skiers would get bored quickly and be unchallenged, yet
I would say it is nice to be close to a site like this and it offers an affordable value for beginners and intermediate skiers.

I live in a suburb of buffalo called orchard park so kissing bridge is very close. Its one of the funnest places i've ever been.the cafeteria is amazing and the bar looks fun. although im not old enough to drink. its got everything from the bunny hills to the black diamonds I don't think that people should come from across the world to see it but if you live anywhere near its is a place you have to check out. living here in western new york you just have to enjoy the weather and kissing bridge a great place to do so. i love snowboarding a kb is deffinatly my first choice near where i live www.kbski.com

This is a great, old-school family ski area - not a "destination" resort. They cater to locals, snowboarders and families. Several different "areas", a few lodges to choose from and tons of lake-effect snow. This is also a good place to learn as there are no impossible trails. One beef is they have a really lame website and the snow report doesn't get recorded/posted early enough. All in all though, a nice spot to spend the day skiing, eating and drinking for a reasonable amount of $$.
Excellent. They get a lot of real powder, and they don't pack all of it right away after a fall, so you have 4-8 hours before it is "packed powder".

I was there on friday and the 2 slopes that were available worked fine, the problem was the 1/2 wait in the only lift line going up Holly. That was terrible with the stopping and slow downs. It's bad enough not to have snow but when you have to wait so long just to enjoy the little that is available,it just wasn't worth it! after 1 run ,I took off my skiis and left, better luck this Friday!
