Holimont is wonderful, from its beautiful chalet to its awesome runs, like Sunset, Meadow, and, for the best view of downtown Ellicottville below, Greer. I got a 10 weekday lift pass for this season and have already been 3 times (it's Feb. 1st when I type this). Red Bull is $4 a can in the chalet, which is overpriced, but you can always bring your own food and drinks with you and take over a wooden picnic table in the chalet and eat your lunch without a problem. They have a few microwaves available for you to heat stuff up. It's a two story lodge, but hardly anyone uses the upstairs usually, unless they have big groups come in, which is every once in a while; I have been to Holimont many, many times and only once was it super crowded (Contractor's Day). Even when it's "crowded" it's still not a problem on the slopes or lifts- I don't think I've ever waited more than a few seconds to get on their chair lifts! The minor annoyances I have with Holimont is that their lifts are slower and smaller than the ones at neighboring Holiday Valley. Those old two seater lifts don't fit two people easily, you know? But that's just a minor annoyance, and certainly not worth worrying about. If you like skiing, Holimont is the kind of place you need to visit.

Love Holimont. My folks have been members for a long time and I grew up racing there. Best resort in Western New york for sure. The snow is always good (at least in the morning), there are no crowds, and the real skiable vert is much greater than Holiday, Kissing Bridge, or Peek'n Peek. Oh and Ellicottville is one of the best ski towns in the country.
