i have skied loon 3 times. twice last year and once this year. it is a great mountain.last year it was very crowded but this year its nice. i like the north peak area its really nice. it has a hispeed lift that rarely has a line which is great. i like the sunset trail. also the south peak area is nice there is NOBODY there and the lift is really fast. theres not much beginner terrain, but theres a ton of intermediate and some advanced. i dont ski black diamonds a lot, but my brother tells me angel street is a good trail. from the lift you can see that the whole east basin area is quite steep.

We skiied Loon today for the first time. GREAT snow conditions, the mountain has a great variety - at 3:00pm I was still finding some new trails to tackle. With 3 kids to please all went well. Aside from the pricey $$ day tickets - I would come back in a heart beat.

I am just an old, old-fashion downhill skier who could ski with the best of 'em. Since i was brought up in NH, i always preferred to ski NH, and undoubtedly, Loon was always my favorite. It was always a treat when i could make it up to loon for the day from Manchester. It would be a dream come true to return to loon as i now live in Florida - no really!
Fr: skier since i could walk

Wow. Early season, then some wind and yet the mountain showed good cover with only a few fast spots after grooming for 12.19. Good advancement in opening trails that are enjoyable to ski from South Mtn to North Peak since my first early December runs. I could make 20+ runs here without getting bored. They are ready for big fun over the holiday. Lifts are all runable and I rode the Gondubie on this date so come on up. Plenty of skiing for all abilities. I will rejoin you after the New Year...

I skied Loon last Febuary, during presidents weekend, and that huge storm had just hit, the conditions were perfect, then the next day the crowds came because of the holiday. That weekend was so nice. The parks are awesome, best parks I have ever skied. It was a blast. It was so much fun, most likely be back this Winter.

It is a great family oriented ski resort with a lot of options. Skiing, Boarding, Tubing, Snowshoeing, ans X-Country skiing. There is a summit and north peak so you can take the heated gondola up to an express quad, and take flune/walking boss (ALWAYS ICEY, There are moguls there too. The view is good; if you are a intermediate/advance skier or rider, avoid the green trails please. The perople on them tend to go slow taking those litle turns, hoging the lane, or sitting down???

Fantastic!! Although the northeast has a lack of snow we always enjoy our Loon White Mountain visit. We love to see the moose, foxes, rabbits...wildlife...and travel around the area. It's a secret area that not too many people know about! When we're there we feel like we own the slopes!

Skied Loon yesterday and had a great experience. The warm weather has put a damper on most of NH's areas, making for weak snow making and opening delays. This is not the case of Loon as it lies in Northern NH. Yesterday the snow was great in the morning, and the guns were at full blast on the yet to open terrain. Loon's management seems to have it together as they continue to open more and more terrain every week. I am going up tomorrow because this is the best skiing in NH.

It was great! We brought our 4 year old daughter and she did not want to leave the ski school. We felt very welcome and comfortable leaving her with the instructors.
